[Please share this post]  When it’s blazingly hot out, most owners realize not to leave dogs in cars.  But, these warm spring days can be deceptive, especially when we’ve been waiting so long for the sunshine. As it warms up even just a bit, don’t leave any pet (or person) in a car “even for a moment.”  This thermometer indicates just how quickly things can get heated.

If you see a pet in distress, either in a hot car or in any other situation, call 911 and be ready to give the location as best you can and any details that will help Metro’s officers respond.
