Can you help provide needed supplies for the kittens in our shelter? With several litters recently born in the shelter, we now have over 30 kittens in our care and need donations of wet kitten food - any amount helps and is greatly appreciated!Donations can be dropped off at the Metro Animal Shelter, which is located at 1200 39th Ave. SE in the City of Puyallup. You can also have your donation of kitten food shipped directly to the shelter from retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Chewy; we have posted links to our wishlists in the comments.Thank you very much for helping to support the lost, abandoned, and stray animals in our community. Metro Animal Shelter
*PET OF THE WEEK - AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION*My name is Jack, and the shelter staff think I am one of the cutest and best puppies they have seen in a long time! I came to the shelter as a very shy puppy back in July, and a super nice police officer from Puyallup has been fostering me since then. I have learned how to be a very good boy, and now I am ready to be adopted by my forever family. Please note that I am a dog with special needs, because I was born completely deaf. There are lots of things that I can do and I’m very well behaved, but I might need a little extra care whenever I leave the yard or I’m off my leash because I can’t hear you calling my name. I would do best in a house with a fenced in yard, so I can safely play outside even if I can’t hear youI am very sweet, very snuggly, and very friendly. Come visit me at the shelter in Puyallup on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. -- I promise I will melt your heart! ... See MoreSee Less
